If I sign up as the Professional and hold events and keep scores for people in my group, do the individual people in my group have to join the BASIC Tile Time or can they do the free?
The great news is that the individuals in your group do not need to subscribe to the BASIC or Professional tiers to participate in your events. As a Professional member, you’ll be able to create and manage events, organize players, communicate with your groups, and keep scores for everyone participating. Our primary goal is to help grow your network!
Your group members can absolutely participate using the FREE TileTime tier.
Some players may later choose to upgrade to BASIC or Professional to access additional features and functionality for their own games and groups, but it is not required to participate in your events.
Is this an app or website?
Tiletime is an app for Apple and Android users. We are working on a web version as well.
I'm a teacher and want to collect payments through the app, when can I do this?
Processing payments goes live in September- we can't wait!
What does a free subscription get me?
You can chat with unlimited groups! Those groups can each have 100 people before you need to upgrade to basic for bigger groups
Who created Tiletime?
A team of Mahjong teachers, software engineers and app developers are all working on building Tiletime to be the best scheduling app there is
I'm a teacher, how can people find me?
Players can find you by entering in your zip code or city. Once a player taps on your profile, all your events will show. Or they can direct message you for a lesson
I'm a player, how can I use Tiletime?
Lots of ways! You can find public Mahjong events by searching your city, find a teacher near you, and create groups with your current Mahjong friends to keep track of when you're playing next
Can I add TileTime events to my website?
Yes, you can generate event links and integrate them into your website, allowing users to click and sign up for your classes or events through TileTime.
For existing TileTime members, the link takes them directly to the event. For new users, it prompts them to download the app and create an account before joining.
TileTime is currently in private beta and will be publicly available this summer. It is designed to help manage events, leagues, messaging, scoring, and overall community operations in one place.
